We carry Mykita optical frames at our boutique on Wilson Street East. Come in and try them on, and our licensed opticians will fit your frame and make your lenses in our own lab.
About Mykita
Mykita was founded in Berlin in 2003 and takes its name from the former children's daycare, or Kita, where the company started. Every frame is still made by hand at MYKITA HAUS in Berlin's Kreuzberg neighbourhood, where the design, engineering and production all happen under one roof.
The detail most people recognize is the patented spiral hinge, a screwless hinge that's left on show as part of the design. Their stainless steel is made from 95% recycled content, and all of their acetate frames are made from Eastman Acetate Renew.

Why buy Mykita at Hanley’s
You can order Mykita online, but a frame bought that way still needs fitting to your face and lenses made to your prescription. Here you get to try the collection on first, and we take care of both.
Our licensed opticians fit every frame, and we make your single vision and progressive lenses in our own lab. If your prescription needs an update, Dr. Kristyn Pozzer can see you for an eye exam in house.
When new frames come in, we often reach out to clients we think they'd suit. Saw a Mykita frame you liked online? Ask us if we have it.
Mykita at Hanley’s Spring 2027
We're hosting an exclusive Mykita shopping event at the boutique on Saturday, April 17, 2027. We’ll have our Mykita brand ambassador, Jerry, on hand with the complete eyewear and sunglass collections along with snacks and cocktails.

Yes, many Mykita frames work well with progressive lenses. Our opticians will check that the frame you like suits your prescription, then make the lenses in our own lab.

Usually, yes. Tell us the model and colour you have in mind and we'll check with Mykita.

Yes. We're happy to adjust Mykita frames that were bought elsewhere, and we can fit new prescription lenses to them.
