We carry AHLEM optical frames and sunglasses at our boutique on Wilson Street East. Come in and try them on, and our licensed opticians will fit your frame and make your lenses in our own lab.
About AHLEM
Designer Ahlem Manai-Platt founded AHLEM in Los Angeles in 2014. Her frames are minimal and precise, and many of them are named after streets and places in Paris.
Every frame is handcrafted in France by master artisans, some of them Meilleurs Ouvriers de France, using plant-based acetate and metal electroplated in 22k gold. AHLEM has its own boutiques in Paris, New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

AHLEM frames are made by master artisans in France, and each one goes through hundreds of steps before it's finished.
Leftover metal and acetate from production is recycled into new objects instead of being thrown away.

AHLEM sells online too, and a frame bought that way still needs fitting and lenses. Buying here means you can try the frames on first, and we'll fit them and make your lenses.
Our licensed opticians fit every frame, and we make your single vision and progressive lenses in our own lab. If your prescription is due, Dr. Kristyn Pozzer can see you for an eye exam.
When new frames come in, we often reach out to clients we think they'd suit. Seen an AHLEM frame online? Ask us if we have it.

Yes, many AHLEM frames work well with progressive lenses. Our opticians will check that the frame you like suits your prescription, then make the lenses in our own lab.

Usually, yes. Tell us the model and colour you have in mind and we'll check with AHLEM.

Yes. If you bought your AHLEM frames online or while travelling, we're happy to adjust them and fit them with new prescription lenses.

Yes. Many AHLEM sunglasses can also be made with your prescription, including progressives.

We're at 241 Wilson Street East in the village of Ancaster, about 15 minutes from Dundas and west Hamilton. There's free parking beside and behind the boutique.
